NSA Stockpile

Yikes! I knew that I had a bunch of airgun ammo to organize today, but I didn't realize just how many of the Nielsens that I've accumulated 😂 This is around ~80% of what I'm trying to consolidate in storage. Took this photo after realizing it was going to be too heavy for the long spare Pelican case I have..

I don't even want to think about all the pellets Varmint Knockers that I have to deal with next 😬

Thought I had gone overboard with the addiction with my stash of NSA's but I feel better now. ;^) Thanks for that! Actually I don't see a problem with it so long as you have the room for your stash and it is being used you are golden. When you run out of room it begins to be a problem unless of course you buy a bigger place so you can have more storage space then it's not. ;^)

I use an inexpensive rifle rack laid on it's side and put on a shelf for storage of bullets. Looks like that would werq for your slugs as well.

I have a pattern of buying a good supply of the stuff that works well. The only regrets I have are not buying more of the ones that are phased out of production (the ones that were hand made).

Out of this stash, the 49.5's were the only ones that I purchased a bunch of without testing, and of course - Murphy's Law factored in and they weren't MOA at long range like the 50 grainers are with my R5! I haven't tried them at targets with my MKII (listed it for sale), but I got them up to 1020 over the chrono without giving the regulator a hernia lol - and I bet they wind up being very compatible 😢

Does this give us some insight into your next project or direction?

Let's just say that I'm going to have to make a LOT more room for what I'm getting into next! 😂

May I ask what you’ve found to be most accurate out of stock LW .22 barrels from NSA & HS press?

I've only had the Lelya and Leshiy in 22 cal (choked) LWs. The Lelya is the one that Is more reasonable for slugs - 23gr were pretty accurate, and the 24.8's were even better. I haven't tried anything heavier yet.
