NSA (slugs) Triple your BC at what cost?

Just shot a 23gr .22 out of my RWS 48 with PG2 kit. 598fps. Smooth shot cycle and the interesting part is it does not seem as loud. I have noticed this out of my Mutant with SUMO. Seems to quiet it down even more. Go figure? Regards, DT

The reduction in report is from the slugs taking more of the available energy from the compressed air pushing it. I have the same results in noise reduction in my .177. I also see and increase in shot count from shooting AA 10.3g pellets for 70 regulated shots to 80 using the NSA 15.5g slugs. You've got to love an efficient round.

I bought a tin of H&N Pile Drivers and they jammed in my barrel. Their OD is nearly 4.6mm (1.77 cal rifle). I was stubborn and tried again... jammed again. So I measured them and found them all to be too big. I won't buy them again.
