can someone tell me what is the largest nsa slug that will fit into and standard. 25 cal mag, the original mag that holds 16 rounds. I only tried the 33 and 36 gr. I wonder would the 38gr and larger fit?

Are you sure? Cause I used the 36gr nsa slug and its .344 and the back of the slug is barely touching the plastic cover. I'm not even sure if the 38gr will even fit. That is why I'm asking before I buy some and end up not fitting. Are you talking about the high cap mags that holds 28 rounds? Cause I'm talking about the original. 25 mag that holds 16. I perfer the original over the high capacity.

I have only been shooting the 36.2 but I understand that the 38gr is largest to fit in the impact clip.

I don't think so. I email nick Nielsen and he said he wasn't sure but think 38gr is largest to fit. No way a 47gr will fit in original fx magazine. Maybe in the new high capacity mag or single tray but not in original mags.

I guess ppl don't read anymore lol. Topic was about the original fx magazine. This is the original fx mag since it seem ppl keep confusing it to the new side shot high cap mags. Point of topic is im trying find out if the 38.5gr nsa slug will fit and also what other larger slug will fit the original mag. Nothing to do with the new side shot high capacity mags since I don't own one so I don't need to know what size fit into the new mags.

Well excuse XXXX me. I did read and understand but apart from capacity, I didn’t think there’d be a difference in dimensions of the pellet chambers between the two magazines. So I thought I’d at least give you a frame of reference.

Just read this thread and I HOPE you got the wrong info and wasted your time and money! I think I may see where there is some confusion. Impact X was asking about a .25 caliber slug and I believe Kulahi is showing pictures of .30 caliber slugs. I was looking to find what is the longest projectile that can be shot in an FX Impact but I did not find it here. I will keep looking.

I just wanted to say that any mag that fits any impact can be milled in just a few minutes on a rotary table to the same depth as any other impact mag. .45" is no problem.
Point #2 - Isn't it annoying when people quote pictures and some even quote the quotes with pictures. It only takes a second to delete the pics from your quote and keep the thread much neater and easy to read. You may get flagged for bad language so leave that out. Children read the forum too. Have fun and take it easy.
