Got my order of NSA 50 grain slugs to shoot out of my .30 FX Wildcat MK2 and here are the results @ 50 yds.

My Matador R5 Long LOVES the 50's! They hold up in the wind at longer ranges much better than the 44.75gr pellets and 47gr NSAs, so I had to take stock..

Smooth twist X in the case of your Wildcat is a full length rifled pellet liner. There is no .30 slug liner from FX yet.

I was under the impression the Smooth twist X barrel was designed for shooting slugs? So yeah I was misinformed about what the smooth twist X actually is... When I was not told it was a pellet liner so I assumed the "new" barrel/liner was the slug design. Oops...

It’s all good, I need to test 50 grain slugs still in my impact the 47 wasn’t very good at all.

I have the same trap . Shot the clamp all to @&
so I now use 1/4 rare earth magnets in all 4 corners of standard sheet of paper . Even in the wind the paper stays still .
