NSA 50 grain slug vs. 44.75 JSB

Got my order of NSA 50 grain slugs to shoot out of my .30 FX Wildcat MK2 and here are the results @ 50 yds.

Center bullseye is NSA left one is JSB

I was under the impression the Smooth twist X barrel was designed for shooting slugs? So yeah I was misinformed about what the smooth twist X actually is... When I was not told it was a pellet liner so I assumed the "new" barrel/liner was the slug design. Oops...



Matt so my gun has the smooth twist X liner NOT a slug liner as the .30 are not available yet.

Smooth twist X in the case of your Wildcat is a full length rifled pellet liner. There is no .30 slug liner from FX yet.

Well regardless its good to know the pellet liners seem to shoot slugs well in .30.
