Just wanted to update everyone on shooting in the July 2019 edition of the NRL .22 with an air rifle. The courses of fire definitely put what little skills I have to the test but I can proudly say I was able to out shoot some of the powder burner guys even at the 100 yard targets which was cool. My FX Imact MKI definitely turned a lot of heads because the majority of the people there had never seen a high power air rifle before and to see the reaction on their faces when they heard the first few shots was priceless because it was mouse fart quiet compared to the rifles they were all shooting. I also have to mention I was able to pull off taking first place in the air rifle division! Only because I was the lone air rifle in the competition, which says it all….😮

It was great to be able and go out and work on some new skill sets with the Impact and getting to meet a bunch of super nice folks at the club!

I took a bunch of screen shots from the clubs FB page so I could share with you all. Enjoy!

I’m doing the same thing at my local range. I’m the only airgunner here too. My dream pup gets their attention too. Congrats on your win!!

Our local NRL22 match got canceled so hopefully next month is my turn.

What matters is that you had fun, right?!

Keep it up and maybe you'll advance higher on the roster at the next match.

How high up do you finish in your club with the rimfire usually? Was it windier than normal?

This was my first time shooting with the NRL 22 ever. Wind was non-existent as were my unsupported kneeling and sitting positions stability. 😳

Well that was a great start then!

It'll get easier and you'll gain momentum the more you compete.

Once again took the Impact out to the NRL22 September match the other day.

Weather was perfect and the winds stayed somewhat calm.

I need to remember to get some pictures throughout the day…..

Ended up over all 5th out of 19.  Total of three Airgunners.  Final score was 410 with a few disappointing “easy” missed.

Looked through the new Burris XTR 3, man that’s a nice scope !!!!

Thanks for the update, nice shootin! Unfortunately I am not able to get out and shoot my rifles on a regular basis. The last time I was able to shoot was at the NRL22 August edition. I'm sure my skills would improve if I were able to get more trigger time but until I can move out of the city it seems once a month will have to do for now. 😕
