Nova vista face lift.

Over the weekend I refinished my stock on the liberty. I hand sanded the old finish/paint off the beach wood. Then I did a few light coats of Old English funiture polish for dark wood. This added a great shade. Then some tue oil. I think it turned out good.
How did you keep it from being blocky? i have the worst luck with beach wood.

Looks good, I did the same to the one I had. I hate that Chinese "paint" finish they use

Not sure what you mean by blocky. I just sanded with the grain. The old English really made the grain pop. I did try and sand down a little bit of the extra stock in places to help with the weight.

Beautiful job on the Nova!
This gun came to me and it was not shiny like in the picture. I would love to give it a deep gloss like in this pic: I can't mess it up though so I will probably pay someone.
