No it is a pressure fit. the mags hold really well. let me know if you want to see a video of how it works.

I was able to take a pic of the support with the plate at the scope level. That pic was taken with the prototype parts, so they are not exactly what I have on the pictures above. you get the just of it. You also have to think that if you have aparalax adjustment tower on your scope, you will definitelly not be able to use that option.
Personally, I did the mags at the scope level option first and it felt that the mags were to present in my field of view. So I decided to move them down. The rings allows enough options to leave space for a night vision screen to be attached to the scope.

What I love, is that system is pretty much compatible with all AG using Marauder types magazines. Positions and offset can be adjusted to fit any guns.

There is always a solution. You could turn the mag holders upside down, as the clips are tight enough where they will not fall off or I can extend the legs a bit more to clear the wheel. Even better do the 2 stated above

Oh and the latest version is lower as shown on this pic.



The cool thing with 3DPrinting, almost everything is feasible.
