Not to be invasive about your age but I'm I the oldest here?

I'll be 70 in February. The 2 passions in my life (aside from my wife) are music (been playing professionally since I was 12) and shooting. I seem to still feel like a youngster when I'm doing either one of those things. Being a drummer has kept me more physically fit than I ever realized it would & I still have the ability to be out in the "wild" & cover the ground needed to find prey while carrying my equipment. I know quite a few guys my age who just can't do it anymore. In my head I'm still a youngster!

Greatest inventions:

[...], firecrackers, and BB guns...

Now, there is a profound truth — that I have believed since my tiny hand could hold a toy gun (though at the time I didn't know about BB guns — they were all just "guns" to my feeble mind).

It all started when I lit my first match. And then my first candle. And then there was no stopping.... 😱😃

With guns... — well, after childhood they took a hiatus — only to brake back into my life with such force that only boys can understand (and the men that still have that boy living inside of them [so, yeah, that's most of us here at AGN, I know]). 😃

What a trip!! Just awesome! I'm so thankful that I get to live in a country where both of these are accessible without the govmnt. meddling too much with it.

Where did all of you youngsters come from. I turned 84 in Sept. and still having a great time shooting my 124's– Diana 54's– and Sig Sauer ASP20. God has Blessed me with great health. My pastor told me years ago– Shoot straight and give God the glory.

Vettnut..for sure you win HANDS DOWN!

Unless I missed someone older than you.

And for the youngest member, I think it was a 19 year old. Both of you need special recognition here.

In 2017 I left the only job I ever had after 43 1/2 years. At 66 I had no idea pestering my prettier half, working in the woodshop and shooting the Impact almost every day would be so much fun. Oh and, Tuesdays are clays day at the range and Wednesdays are fishin day if the weather and tides are right and....

Retirement is kinda like being 15 again with no school. Here's praying that all of you that are not there get there!
