Nomad stuck at 2000psi!?

any chance you need to tighten up the valve knob on the BOTTOM of the Nomad II along with the bleed valve. Ive not tightened both down a couple of times and the outcome was stabilization at about 2000 PSI. Good luck.

Yep, you are correct sir. I don’t know how the bottom knob got loosened, but I just tightened it up and “Presto,” problem fixed.
Roger, at Pyramid Air, walked me through a diagnostic where we plugged the hose and since it got stalled at 2000psi, he concluded it was a faulty unit. So he emailed me a return shipping label. Now I need to email him back letting him know the problem is fixed.
Thank you for your input, you saved me from a big headache of packing it up, sending it back, then finding out that the problem was all me(which was my first guess to begin with)! And I don’t have to wait another 6 weeks to play with my toys .

No worries, awesome it is fixed!! I have had the Nomad II for 2 year and about 300 fills mostly of ~450 cc bottles. I've had no problems, however I recently decided NOT to fill my FX bottle to the full 250 barr as I've been reading that causes extra stress. I may just fill to 240 or 230. The feedback on these seem to be polarized, Many have had problems, but I've had essentially none other than a issue when new and pyramyd fixed it quickly.

Glad it is fixed!
