Nomad Compressor - Any experience yet?

I've had mine a couple of months now...filled several bottles, 13 ci and .38 ml to 2900 psi...works great - no trouble...noise level is individual...relatively quite for some, loud for others, hard to make that determination...it's in my computer room and it doesn't bother me while it's filling as I surf or work the computer. Haven't gone above 3 Kpsi

I recommend it...

Good Hunting.😎👍

Some kind of clones are already available in the China market :

Very compact, foot print is about 2/3 of an A4 size paper. Outer measurements 16 x 19 x 11 cm

charging a 300 cc bottle from 0 to 3600 psi takes 11 min.

Normal working temperature 90 deg C !!!

No addition of lubricant needed !!!

Price $150

Probably will be available on ebay in the near future.

Received my Nomad yesterday. Definitely not a return like I anticipated. Came crazy packed from Pyramydair. I filled my Impact and P15 both in less than 5 minutes from around 160 bar to 250 bar. Like others have stated the manual doesn't say how long you should run it without load and just the fan on after fill has been completed. I let it run about 3 minutes and no part of it felt even warm. I wonder if I should attempt to top off my 88cuft cf scba to 4500 psi . It has around 3200 psi in it.

So I take it yours is working great so far Stony?

Yes but I've only used it literally 4 times. Filled my .25 Impact and .22 P15 directly. Just really busy this week to play with it further. I am so tempted to top off my cf 4500 psi 88 cuft scba. It currently has approx 3200 psi in it. I'm not sure I should chance it even if I do it in short time segments. Any opinions ??

Had mine a couple months. Filled the Wildcat 20 times From 150 to 250 bar takes under 3 minutes. Just reading on PA Q&A for the Nomad they talked of filling a small bottle like a Benji 90 cu.in in no more 5min &1000psi intervals at a time and not to exceed load and drain, the person giving that answer stated they contacted Air Venturi. But I’ve heard a lot of thing in forums and Q&A’s so like all things on the WWW verify and then verify again.
