Nomad 2 Fail. Anyone else have this issue?

First and foremost, I'm not here to bash anything, if you feel the need to do so because of bad experiences with this pump, have at it, I wanna hear it. I also want to hear the good stuff, is it worth it, is it not. At this point,

I am thinking of letting it go back and getting another model that seems to be gaining a track record for its performance without break downs, and half the price. This makes me nervous to get an "inspected" pump and I have found two things wrong that clearly could not have made it through and inspection. It concerns me and I am voicing it. I know it will be replaced by PA, no concerns, personally never had an issue with them.

Looking for some good info, good pump or not? This is very expensive to be worrying about. I have heard some negative on this pump, I need to know the majority on it though. Reviews help, but are not always accurate when people don't post the negative ones.

Video is pretty long. You should just get to the point of the issue. It shouldn't be like more than 2 -3 mins long so we aren't watching through 20 mins of video just talking. I didn't watch the whole thing but from what I got by skipping some parts of the video was, it's leaking where the bleed valve is correct? So no matter how tight you screw the bleed valve it leaks. Well there is a white delrin or whatever washer inside there. When you tighten on the bleed valve it pushes against the delrin washer to seal. It may be damage..just take the bleed valve nob out and look inside if there is a white plastic washer. It may be damage. Just use a tool to take it out and put in a new one..easy fix. Idk why you would send it back for a small leaking. If the motor died or it won't run or something than yeah. But a small leak is easy fix and always is a damage o ring.

Thanks, I haven't torn into one so I don't know what seal needs fixed. I asked around for some info on it, it happens, but it shouldn't have passed inspection. It's not a deal breaker, I can get it replaced, probably fix it myself really easy, but it sucks when you get something that doesn't work, especially with all the hoopla about the inspection tag being right on it, and of course the price, it happens, but it sucks that it happened to me, lol.

Yes the video is like 20 minutes long, I wanted to go through the pump and what comes with it as well as what the problem was to show that this was the only issue I found with the compressor, then, unless you missed it, the window over the numbers moved, floating freely, that shouldn't be moving, lol.

Thanks for the info, where were you when I was asking around, I don't think I asked in here. But yeah I with ya, it's probably an easy fix and I would hate to send it back, I really appreciate the info, not sure if that will mess up the warranty on it, probably, I'll ask PA. If the window hadn't just freely moved over the numbers I probably wouldn't have thought much about it, how could someone miss that. I want to chalk this off as someone not doing their job when they inspected it, but seeing that and thinking that, I'd rather get a replacement just in case.

Again, thanks for the great info and the comment.

It should look something like this. They are cheap, few bucks on eBay or AliExpress. Also all handpump and compressor should come with the white plastic washer. Check your seal kit. It usually will have it.

Thanks ImpactX, that was exactly what the problem was. Finally got it out and put a new one in, shot straight up to 3000 psi for me.
