Noise in the impact

Today while shooting I got a Brrrrrp instead of the regular pop of a round being fired. About 10 Rounds later I got it again. I've noticed a little up and down variation that I attributed to the regulator after all it is a FX. Has anyone else experience this noise. Anyone know what this problem is. I don't know whether you understand what I've said but if you've heard it you know what I'm talking about. I wonder if it's a flutter of the regulator, which is a good possibility I don't think it's a spring it doesn't sound mechanical although it could be.

Any experience?

I have a huma reg in my impact. When pressure is 150 bars or lower. I get this noise that sounds like a squeaking sound. I clean it and it goes away but comes back a few days later. Now I just ignore the sound. I dont think it affects fps or accuracy

Possibly something on your breech seal o-ring creating a minor leak when fired? That seal is easy to contaminate and gets a lot of wear from the pellet probe and the pellets themselves.

What i was thinking. Anyway debris could have gotten in or around the hammer. Worth a look.

It's a fx impact..not a marauder. Fx gun do not have hammer bounce. Unlike the marauder and other pcp with the spring is constantly pushing the hammer against the valve. Fx gun uses a slingshot type, which at no time the spring or hammer is making contact with the valve.
