Nikon Scopes

It will sit on my Independence i only use it for taking out squirrley monsters and those buck tooth bandit rabbits. that like to eat my veggie farm in the back yard. i don't do any bench rest contests. or any other fancy thing yeah i looked at those 2,3,4 and 5,000 dollar scopes . but what i use it for i can not justify that price. most of the time it sits in the case. to bad more stuff is not made here these days. you guys should peruse the snowblower form. the made in china engines and snowblowers are always a hot topic over there. and by the way that is where i spend most of my time. but now with warmer weather the place is a little dead. turns out that varmit scope works alright. just had some wonky pellets going through it. i agree it is madding that most stuff is made overseas and cheap. i looked at those nikko sterling diamond sportsman scopes nice never bothered to check the price. i know a lot of you guys play this game hard and full time. my life does not allow me to do that i have more important stuff on the old Itinerary. I just want to say MAHALO to every one that has voiced their 2 cents here so far.

I will for sure ...I've had Aeon , Bushnell AR and rimfire series , Weaver V and Kappa , Nikon , and some others that are slipping my mind at the moment in same price range . I'll be as objective as possible . Comparing it to more Elite optics , or " free with gun " type scopes won't be the benchmark. Lol.
I've got a few scopes on hand I can compare back 2 back with . It's most fair way in my opinion . Comparing to a scope as you remember it not easy or fair .

I just want to add this thought the first gun i got was a .22 crossman nitro venom dusk. it came with a cp 3-9 by 32 scope and that scope was pure crap!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and the gun was not much better. that scope you could not even see out of it, let alone get it zeroed in right. the 2 things i always heard about for that gun was the trigger and the scope. never did anything with the trigger. but i got that Varmit scope. i kept on hearing about this thing/place called the dark side with PCP'S. with dead on accuracy and no recoil. i just had to make that trip over to the other side. and not even a year old that made in china crossman broke it gave up it's piston spring. just tossing that out there for the masses.

Well i finally showed back up here. been way to busy with other things. i got the nikon scope from optics planet. it is a nice scope, but found out it has a 50 yd parallex. well now that does not do me any good. so i sent it back. remounted the sidewinder and got it all tuned in. and now everything is fine here in my world. been dropping those squirrely monsters left and right. and been dropping those buck tooth bandits from 70 yards out. REST IN PEACE!!!!!!!!! You scurvy vermin!!!!!!!!!!!!!  so that is my update on this scope. in hindsight if i would have read the specs from the start. i would have seen the 50 yd min. everything under that is all fuzzy looking.
