Nikon scopes...

Hi,

I can get Nikon scopes for a killer deal (through work), and I am wondering if I should get one!? If so, which one!?

You might want to tale a look at the 3x9x40 EFR It's AO adjustable to 10 yards, it got great reviews for the glass. Originally it was a 1/2 moa click, on Optics Planet they have it listed now as 1/4 moa. I don't think a mildot version is available and other Nikon models have a longer than 10 yard minimum focus

I have an Athlon scope right now with a max magnification of 12 and I found it to little. So a scope with max 9 is not going to work... I also do not shoot anything closer than 20 meters...

I just finished mounting a Nikon Prostaff Rimfire II 3-9x40 with BDC150 Reticle to a new Marlin XT-22VR for my wife. Nice clear glass with a fine and detailed reticle. It started raining today so I haven't taken it outside yet. In the house the wall at 20 yards gets blurry 6 power and above, clear at 3 to 5 power.
