Night vision help

I use the Nitesite Viper with my Nightforce scopes. I purchased the unit ~2 years ago and it works great. However, the raccoons and 'possums that roam the woods behind my property don't like it one bit.

By recommendation of a member here I’ve been using one of these. This is an economy grade set up. I paid $150.00 for mine. Now I’m only using it in my back yard. But I’m pleased with the results. As with a lot of night vision scope set ups. You may need/want to purchase an alternative IR light source.

I made my own and it werqs great paid a bit over $300 for the parts see pics below. The Pard-007 (link two) is a tiny bit more expensive but you are looking through your scope and not at some separate screen. I don't have one but like the looks and what I have read about it from others. Here is a link to the review done right here on the forum. Centercut says it is great for a night scope not so much for the day. For a little more money (link three) is a separate scope unit that seems to be OK. I have both the Photon (link four) and the ATN 4K pro and they are both great units. The ATN 4K has really extended the battery life and included a built in rechargeable battery. Optics Planet has a 11% off coupon on the ATN 3x14 (link five).

At ten yards in the pitch black basement with a 3W 940nm flashlight

Self contained unit. All parts attached to the scope are on two flip lever type QD mounts so the DVR is removed with one and the camera and battery pack with the other.
