Night shooting question?

Hunting at night with artificial light is not legal in Arizona. But is it legal to shoot a pest at night on private land in Arizona with a pellet. I am talking about a skunk that I can't seem to trap that is spraying at times under a residence. I have tried to find the answer for hours. And can not find any exception. I think the old days with printed hunting manuals may have been easier to find rules.

I briefly looked at the regulations for Arizona, it’s MUCH more complicated that what we have here in Tennessee. I would recommend calling someone at your local game and fish regional office and explain the problem you are having and that you want to legally eliminate the pest if possible. They should be able to advise you what you can and can’t do and might offer an alternate solution to fix the problem.

Hire it out , by the time you get it and retrieve it , I don't think your wife will let you back into your house . Also don't expect just one btw good luck

Does the residence have a porch light as that certainly is NOT hunting with an artificial light.

You don't need to 'SPOTLIGHT" hunt the thing.

Oh I will add this. I thought it was kinda funny. I called AZ game and fish today. I was on the phone forever. I can't remember all the prompts but it seemed ridiculous like this. "Press 1 for English, press 3 if you are a person, press 1 if you want to talk with a breathing person. After pressing and getting transferred then talking to a service representative that couldn't answer a question, I finally get transferred to a warden. Its his voicemail telling me he is not available but if I press 1 I can be returned to the operator.

I may or may not have taken out 2 skunks last week with my .22 Mrod cranked up in power. “Would be” satisfying after my dog got sprayed the week before. Be warned “I’m told” they dump all their stuff once they expire. It’s legal to hunt them here in Michigan with an air rifle, but I’m not aware of the pesting on private property rules. Though my dogs are not gonna get sprayed again regardless, I can tell you that much. So just chance it, it’ll be like 2am anyways, who will know? Any other animal and I’d be so by the book, but dogs just cannot get sprayed by them, it’s so bad in their eyes and in the house for two weeks not to mention the dog smelling for literally 3 months. No thank you, I’d take steps...
