I am happy to anounce that my nova freedom @ 20yds. Is shooting these nielsen slugs very accurately. When i rec'vd the gun it seemed to be loud. I shot it over the chrony @ 780fps w/14.3g premier domed. Groups were nice and tight. Then i shot it at high and got 992fps, not good for this pellet. I was wondering if this barrel could accurately shoot the nielsen slugs. Bought a 100 rds. of 28g. Boat tails . I shot 3 rds @ 20 yds and holes are overlapping. I was truly excited ! Sorry i dont have pics but will get them tomorrow. More testing and chrony work will be done. It is looking very good for long range accuracy!

First of all im shooting stix @85yds. Mid morning 73deg, 300 ft ele. Crony error 3 or four times, wired link to phone failed, could'nt use my app and landlord just got hm from running and can hear me shooting in the pasture...horses are behind me about 60 yds. They hate airgun noises. I know i could get better groups with a little better scope and being on a bench...but this is hunting style and this is what ill be using it for. I had a slight breeze from right to left pushing against treeline to my left then to the right...a little. I magaged to get this data....

The lower 5 shots are at 4 mils. And too low. 2 nd 5 on top held at 5 mils for this group. I did not range this target as i wanted it to be realistc for me. I ranged it later after the session.

I hope that airgunners that use this gun can use this info.

I believe it is a keeper.. i will test some more slugs as i also purchased the NSA tester pack with 25 slugs each of diff. Of Weights ....i think 5. The 33 g hollow points flat base are a little tight but still are accurite. I want to use this as a high power beater....inexpensive & consistent too. A person could shoot then keep pressure in the peak fps range for this weight. Thier is a lot of options here.

Im still excited about this gun.

I stumbled on your post & for $399.00 it has my attention. I was confused about your speeds being variable. I hate to ask but could you please show us what it can do bench rested with JSB 15.9 & 18.13's? 

I ask as I understand your need of hunting but I'm a paper puncher & for a regulated rifle I'd be unhappy with those groups; but I can't shoot for poop off hand or with sticks. I'm sitting rested on knees or a bag. You did way better than I probably could.

Stupid question but it says 17 shots w/ 40 pumps. Is that get it to the 3600psi? I doubt it. Does it have a probes or quick detach to top off?

at 30 yds w/ jsb 18.13 g. Off the bench/bags at 3000psi. The gun is accurite.



I can get about 5 good accurite shots full pwr. For hunting. Low power groups are tighter and about 17 shots. On 14.3 domed the speed is 900- 992 fps on full power. This is no good. 14.3 @ 3000 psi on low power is what i shoot and is extremely accurite for this gun.

the gun is extremely reasonably priced for this type of hybrid air charging. Yes, it comes with a QD filling probe . Hope that helps. I am really happy with this purchase.

The more I hear about this gun the more I like it. I’m saving for it now , I have a .30 hatsan gas ram right now it’s great but only for 35 yards. This gun is just what I’m looking for I don’t want something that I have to use a tank for. I also was looking at the neilson slugs the 28 and 32 boat tail if you get time please update us more on your testing thanks.

These may definitely be worth a try, I had excellent accuracy results using these in other mid to high powered airguns.

A little slower velocity resulted in a bit more drop but still got ragged hole groups at 50 yards and seems to be very good in the wind.

They are long so you probably need to load them using the single shot tray unless you have a modded Marauder magazine.

I think you will get a pleasant surprise using these and are cheaper than any slugs and can bet will be more accurate too.
