Am I missing something? Isn’t this Nightforce scope around a grand? I’ve found 2 vendors who are selling them for $500.

Order placed, amazon is good with issues. Also payed with my amazon credit card, so worst case scenario I just file a claim and get my money back.

Btw, the seller sounded like a guitar supplier (not very confident this is actually gonna happen), but figured hey why not, not like i’ll actually lose money if they don’t send it.

I tried, they think someone hacked into my account and cancelled it because that’s what it says on the order. I told them this was not the case and they said they would investigate it.
I don’t plan pushing it any further with amazon, we all knew it was likely an error and something like this was probably gonna happen, it was worth a shot.

Yeah, the sellers hacked it when they realized their snafu. I’m pissed off but if you’re ok then.

It would be easy to find out. Quite a few people ordered one at that price (judging by the numbers “only 2 left” by the time they switched it) so it’s likely they cancelled all of them but highly unlikely they all got hacked.

Apparently the SELLER was hacked. The hacker advertised things they don’t even sell. But they may have collected some of your information. I’d contact Amazon and tell them they’re on notice if anything goes haywire and maybe get a case # from them. Here was one of the scammed comments
My item was cancelled without notification - they were hacked. I emailed the seller and received a response within 5 minutes. They had items for sale on their site that they don't even sell. They normally sell strings for instruments and such - the items that were cancelled were welders (what I ordered) and other power equipment. Customer service was quick to respond and answered my questions.
