Newest entry in the "cheap" PCP race.

The Beeman commander. It's pretty decent. The trigger is not bad (not great), quiet, and the cocking bolt is decent. I rate it a tad lower than the gauntlet and the Nova Liberty. But $250 total price is great. Edit: This belongs to a shooting buddy of mine. He brought it out to shoot this past Sunday. It already has a couple of squirrel victims. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Beeman-1518-Commander-22-Caliber-1000-FPS-Multishot-PCP-Air-Rifle/293247596762?hash=item4446eb38da:g:x4UAAOSwlfldjOjY

How is the accuracy? Does it shoot anywhere the fps it advertised? How about the shot count? Anything stand out positive or negative about this gun?

We didn't do a detailed review. Using 14 grain pellets in about 10 miles per hour gusts of wind, groups were consistently about an inch at 55 yards. The pellets velocity was a little over 900 fps so about 25-26 fpe. It was the first time shooting the gun so nothing jumped out as negative. The biggest positive for me was that it was comfortable to shoot.

Black diesel , I looked at your message when you posted it about the Beeman. I looked it up on Ebay and sent the seller a message and several days to think about it . Well that;s old history now but I enjoy that commander. It shoots crosmans hp better than my disco and marauder. Shooting under 13 gr pellets, this thing will go supersonic on you.. I enjoy shooting it but getting parts for it , is what I'm trying to get now. O rings set , extra mags and so forth. I replaced the barrel o rings already , # 7 from Ace . Air leakage from transfer port at the breech. It will tack drive those jsb 15.89 gr. at thirty yards. I sure can't wait til someone do a review on it. Next time I go to Georgia, I have to visit the store.
