Newbold targets

I thought I'd post this. These targets are sold by newbold and I've found them to be the best for my particular type of shooting, I like to shoot off hand. You can look at the newbold web sight if you are interested.

Advantages, No sound other then a slight slapping sound if the target gets hit. Completely unaffected by weather. My target sits there 24/7. Moved when the grass is mowed. No painting going down range to replace paper.

Disadvantages Contrary to what newbold will tell you they don't last for ever. They will take a lot of hits as long as you don't hit the strap. Hit that a couple time and you're done. You DO NOT want use these targets at close range do to possible bounce back. They are a rubber nylon polymer and newbold expressly states not for air guns but I think they are perfect for airguns as long as you know their limits with respect to bounce back.

The box is there because I had a paper target stapled to the box (metal chain in the box to position and keep the box in place). The largest target I think is 8 inches and I use that for my NW air pistol with a red dot sight. The other three I shoot with the Red Wolf 22. At 45 yards the little one incher is pretty hard to hit repeatedly off hand.

Newbold makes the orange corner brackets to take the two by fours so it's a very flexible system. If you would order order spares because they do eventually need to be replaced. Cheap fun almost no work.

When I took the photo I took it with my I phone and zoomed in . The cat is not part of the target system. I didn't see him and I didn't know he was even there until I zoomed in.
