Red Wolf Safari



Building on the all-conquering successes its Red Wolf model achieved through 2018, Daystate is unveiling a new high-power model for 2019 at this year’s IWA Outdoor Classics Trade Fair being held in Nuremberg, Germany.



Visually, the Red Wolf Safari is distinguished by its avant-garde woodwork, textured to create added grip and complement the good ergonomics already afforded by a stock incorporating an adjustable cheek and butt pad. But the new Safari is also quite a powerhouse – capable of up to 60ft/lbs in .25 caliber in fact. And it’s all courtesy of two all-new developments: its GCU version 2.0 electronics and highly-advanced ART polygonal barrel.



Version 2.0 of its Gun Control Unit – the electronic firing system that regulates the firing valve and air release – now incorporates completely updated hardware that, ultimately, helps Daystate’s ground-breaking electronic rifles to produce up to 20 per cent more muzzle energy than previous incarnations were capable of. It also allows for more shots per air fill and a superior electronic trigger function, all of which translates into making GCU 2.0-equipped rifles even more accurate.

The new barrel harnesses the Safari’s precision even further, courtesy of the ART programming. The Accuracy Research Team (ART) barrel is a collaboration between world-renowned barrel maker, Lothar-Walther and a team of engineers and shooters from Italy, the UK and US. Featuring a polygonal bore and slow-twist rifling, it reduces friction and optimizes pellet spin for improved in-flight stability.

This communications makes things more unclear than provide clarity.

1. ART barrels are already used for .22 and .177 Redwolf HP?

2. Art barrel is released in .25 now.

3. 60ftlbs is already attainable for redwolf HP? So I assume this new GCU increased these capabilities ? To 70-80ftlbs in .25?

4. Can GCU be retrofitted or dropped into a current Redwolf HP in .22 , .177?

5. How can the unit provide a high shot count if the supplied air bottle Is the same size and we are increasing power ?




 
I am confused. My Redwolf .25 HP shoots 60lb pounds. 20% more would be 72 foot lbs.

Ok Daystate, we have some confused people here and I'm one of them. What calibers will the Safari be offered in and what are the so called "up to" Ft lbs. we can expect from each offered caliber. Also without giving up too many secrets...any chance there is a timetable for the new barrel in .303.

Y no es así. No deben calcular la velocidad. Es un error porque están usando un barril con surcos muy pulidos. Si desea implementar un barril con un automóvil que no sea poligonal y con ranuras altas y verá que no obtendrá 500 fps, se lo aseguro. Esos rifles con esos sistemas disparan 8 libras pie.así que si están empacados en los sprints son por libra, vienen. Por ejemplo, La fábrica de Benjamin Marauder pesa 8 libras. si nos fijamos en la tienda JSA. vendió sprints de 12 libras y 17 libras. Ahí está el golpe de martillo. A medida que uno aumenta el gasto del rifle, deben analizar más y no calcular la velocidad.
