New Webleys out of India

The Webley name is actually owned (or was anyway) by a company called Highland Outdoors Group in the UK and has since they bought the rights to everything Webley in 2006. They had a deal with Hatsan Turkey to build air rifles but if they're building them in India now, would appear that deal has ended. The few US retailers that still had Webley branded guns sold remaining stock off dirt cheap a few years ago. AoA at the end was selling off what they had for $99.99 and when I bought the .177 I have to go with the .22 I already owned. There was also a company selling off what stock they had left in the Valuemax line on Amazon and when I got the 4 .20 caliber Valuemax rifles I have.

After looking at your link, definitely new/redesigned. Hatsan has a patent on the Quattro, so what they're claiming as a Quattro trigger has to be a knock-off and the little the picture shows looks nothing like the Quattro triggers in the 4 Turk built Tomahawks I have. Also looks like they took away the threaded barrel end to add the open sights and was a nice feature if you wanted to add a 1/2-20 UNF threaded moderator.

Time will tell I guess. That and waiting to see if any of them ever show up in the US market as for now, all the dealerships listed are in India.

p.s. - I took a look at their home page, scrolled to the bottom and clicked where it says About and from what they have there, would appear they've been hard at work making Webley branded stuff since 2019 in a newly built plant in India which explains the Webley logo with Made in India under it. Way cheaper to build things there I'm guessing....

Webleys are going to be manufactured in india which basically is in collaboration with a local who happens to be a arms dealer. Webley has a big fan following in india due to association back from british colonial rule. Revolver means webley and the company & its indian counterpart seems to encash that. This all is also becoz since 1984 import of weapon is bannef except those who are on sports. A revolver in .32 caliber which was imported before the ban costs upward 5000 usd. But with gov of india recent arms manufacturing policy tarus..s&m glock are setting shop.. so things are going to ease on availability, choice * off course on price front.
