First I’ve seen this.  Unlike the Kalibur rifle, AT kept the forward trigger linkage (albeit shortened).
This puts it in the same “hybrid” category as the FX Bobcat and Brocock Compatto.
It is a smart conversion – minimal changes (parts); new platform.  And, it looks sharp.

There should be a good reason to aim at the midle in between a bullpup and the classical design. I still don’t see it.

Nice. It will be available late January 2016 because I was going to order one in tactic but today received the bullpup VULCAN :)

For me, the platform makes sense.  It creates the most compact, “full sized” carbine.  Some folks just do not like bullpups.  They don’t want their cheek on the block.  They don’t want their eye near the breech.  Brocock and BSA both made some darn fine “mini rifles”, but the power and shot-count were both noticeably lower than their full-sized counterparts.  By implementing a hybrid design, you get all the benefits of the larger air reservoir and long barrel in a gun 4-6 inches shorter.

The lines between bullpup and rifle are getting blurrier every year.  :)

I like the synthetic version better.

And I’m excited about the new shroud.
The Bullpap shroud is very loud! :(

Now that there is a fine looking carbine (bull-bine? Car-pup?), though I agree with KenSkylight: gimme  the synthetic stock!

Thumbs up to the Synthetic as well. Carbines are also more user friendly for us lefties. Thought I had my next rifle picked out…… shouldn’t have looked at this thread. LOL!

I’ve been speaking to Petr at TGAG about this rifle for a couple of months.  On the last conversation several weeks ago, he said that he was told the delay in this rifle was due to issues with getting the stock made.  Looks like they sorted through that issue – but I have to say that, like others above, I highly prefer the black tactical stock on the original concept.  This wood stock is kind of fugly IMO.

Lol yes please do the non sks looking wood and go synth please

However I have seen some wood grain ones  look pretty good on some pics I have seen

Some cat on you tube  shooting a 1 hole group at 75 yds with a Vulcan …. I mean its hole on hole and another hitting a little spinner over and over at 100m

yet I have a concern, and maybe some of you more experienced folks can offer insight:

You can check this youtube channel http://www.youtube.com/channel/UCQEhw2NBYUD_EIHiLOr4BlA Lots of information on the Vulcan

Disco and Mrod don’t compare to these in build quality. However asking price on the Vulcan in my opinion is high.
