First I’ve seen this. Unlike the Kalibur rifle, AT kept the forward trigger linkage (albeit shortened).
This puts it in the same “hybrid” category as the FX Bobcat and Brocock Compatto.
It is a smart conversion – minimal changes (parts); new platform. And, it looks sharp.First I’ve seen this. Unlike the Kalibur rifle, AT kept the forward trigger linkage (albeit shortened). For me, the platform makes sense. It creates the most compact, “full sized” carbine. Some folks just do not like bullpups. They don’t want their cheek on the block. They don’t want their eye near the breech. Brocock and BSA both made some darn fine “mini rifles”, but the power and shot-count were both noticeably lower than their full-sized counterparts. By implementing a hybrid design, you get all the benefits of the larger air reservoir and long barrel in a gun 4-6 inches shorter.
The lines between bullpup and rifle are getting blurrier every year.

Carbines are also more user friendly for us lefties. Thought I had my next rifle picked out…… shouldn’t have looked at this thread. LOL!

DocDecember 18, 2015 at 10:12 am LinkI’ve been speaking to Petr at TGAG about this rifle for a couple of months. On the last conversation several weeks ago, he said that he was told the delay in this rifle was due to issues with getting the stock made. Looks like they sorted through that issue – but I have to say that, like others above, I highly prefer the black tactical stock on the original concept. This wood stock is kind of fugly IMO.

You can check this youtube channel http://www.youtube.com/channel/UCQEhw2NBYUD_EIHiLOr4BlA Lots of information on the Vulcan
Disco and Mrod don’t compare to these in build quality. However asking price on the Vulcan in my opinion is high.
