New Vulcan Bolt to Sidelever Conversion!

I placed some teplon tape on the underside of the sideplate where all 4 screws go into the body to be a sound/vibration dampner...10 minute install and I was blasting away...shes a amazing gun now...

I made sure I used a brand new allen wrench to break all 4 allen screws loose. If you have a old allen wrench thats been rounded, just file or cut off the tip of the wrench so she can work as new again. All 4 allen screw were very tightly attached to my pup but if you give the allen wrench a quick snap to break the screws loose that should do the job. You can also pre dab some WD40 on the screws a couple of days before the install to loosen the screws, that's what I did. Hope this helps. Drilling stripped allen screws out is a chore no one should do.

The kit works fine in my Vulcan Tactic but dont lock in open position, for insert the magazine i have to hold de lever with my hand.
Any way to fix this?

 I've read that a few guys glue a small magnet to hold it open for mag changes.

Very good move on their part. What is the cost of the conversion and will new guns ship with the lever at no additional cost or will it always be an upgrade option? I'm thinking of the overall gun cost. I will probably add a .25 to my arsenal at some point and that one feature now makes that gun a viable option. Thanks for sharing.
