Barrel on that wolverine R appears shorter than the barrel on my wolverine Hi Lite .... Does anybody know if that is the case or not ...??

Probably due to the regulator making the bottle move forward giving the appearance of a shorter barrel. Unless of course you have the HP version which does have a 6" longer barrel (23" vs 17")
