So the temp gauge for my Hatsan Spark failed due to excessive vibration and just pore build quality. If the manufacture had used potting compound in the LCD display I’m sure it would have lasted as long as the air compressor itself. Anyway I went on the ‘zon and found this LED temp gauge with two temp probes. $20.00 shipped. I did not want to mount it back on the air compressor. So I made this panel mount. I also sealed the entire unit with permatex gasket maker. It should provide good vibration dampening.
So the red numbers are reading the temp of the compressor itself. The blue numbers are ambient air temp. I’m pleased with the product and the results. The LED is a lot easier to see than the LCD screen.
