New Stock for FWB 124D

Here is a picture of my SC stocked FWB 124, and my FWB 127, with a Maccari DIY stock that I completed. I had Checkering added to both of them, for a little functional bling.

Absolutely stunning rifles Scott. That cheque work is first rate!! That 127 stock sure is pretty!! Thanks for sharing examples from 2 fine stock makers. I hope Steve gets back at it. Here's that .22 R9 (left) that you did from a Steve Corcoran stock.

Like they say...you don't miss them til they're gone!

Here are a couple 124s that I were done by Scott Blair. Left is a JM stocked FWB120 now owed by Mike O, middle is a Steve Corcoran stocked 124 now owned by Perry P and right is an original FWB124D in a fancy Factory walnut stock still with me

Never ceases to amaze me how many different styles of stocks have been produced around this timeless classic action.

Glad you like the stock Bill! It was a pleasure to build! Just to clear the air on everything else-I never stopped building. I have full time employment now and took down my site to control the number of requests. Been doing this either part or full time since 2003 and have gone back and forth on production as it related to the needs of my family. I still have over 250 different designs between stocks and grips that I pull from to build items from time to time. I will be putting up a new site after the first of the year to post items for sale but will still control the number of requests as I just can't promise a delivery date. I do enjoy the work but in the end I have to do what's best for my family.

Thanks for all the support over the years-the airgun community is really a unique group of folks. I will always keep my options open as time goes on so will see what the future holds.

Thanks everyone for sharing photos of your 124's and other guns with beautiful stocks, this is what I was hoping for. I stumbled across my first 124 because a gentleman asked me to bring two of his back to life, I didn't want to work on someone's else's gun without first doing one of my own so I purchased a 124D and that gun shot ok for a while but like all 124's the piston seal dried out and crumbled. I ended up installing a JM Pro Mac HP kit and was so impressed with the accuracy and shot cycle I did the same for his two as well, The guy is absolutely thrilled with both of them.I stumbled upon another 124 standard with the same problem, I installed the slightly softer kit in that gun and really like it. The standard 124 is like brand new with a really nice beech stock, nicest piece of beech I had ever seen, grain is deep and 3D when the light hits it, I almost believe it's not beech maybe walnut but not sure ? That gun shoots 7.87 JSB's at 780 fps and is just as accurate as the 124D.
