" Bottom Line: Get yourself a Cricket! "
Well put. -
I've had mine for about 2 1/2 years now and I just can't put it down. The .25 cal. is it for me. Accuracy wise, it"s above my ability, I'm sure. I've shot 200 yard groups recently that I would call BS. Best yet 5-shot - 1 3/4" CTC @ 200 yards. Not with domed pellets or any wind though. Just trying to see what the gun could do way out. Surprised the poop out of me. I'm sure there are lots of great guns out there. I'm just stuck on the Cricket .25 because it has exceeded all of my expectations. Including H.P.'s that work. I did add a LDC to mine. Wish a had a dollar for every time I've held it out in front of myself to star and say that's just f$#@ing unbelievable.
You might try the H&N Barracuda Hunter 27.47 gr. for those squirrels.

Given how great this gun really is, and by great I mean amazing, I'm surprised it's not as popular as I'd expect it to, at least online and on youtube. Very hard to find good English reviews of this gun.
I shot it some more today and it out-shoots me. This gun demands your very best abilities as a shooter to take advantage at the precision it produces. I just have this big grin on my face when I shoot it and very few rifles have done that. It's also the shortest gun I own, yet the most powerful. And I haven't even tried the heavier MK 2 JSB's or H&N Baracuda's. I was mumbling profanities in disbelief after shooting that squirrel this morning at 70 yards.

It's been out for a number of years now so it's not one that people review much anymore but there are plenty of reviews out there if you go back a few years.

If you look on youtube, you'll find more reviews of the Cricket than you have time to watch.

Have you guys tried the 34 grain JSB's? If your Cricket shoots them accurate Charlie at Georgia airgun does a 60 - 65 fpe tune. Charlie puts a plenum behind the regulator and without stressing the HS or regulator Crickets 25's put out 60+ fpe.

Tune doesn't make $ense unless your gun likes one of the 34 JSB's or heavier 25 cal pellet. Mine is pushing the 34 grain 920 fps.

If your thinking of hanging your Cricket the hanger below will hold a bulldog or skeleton stock. Not sure about a synthetic but it probably will.

Amazon has the hanger for $11 and they have light, med and dark stain.

My wife recently inherited my 22 caliber cricket, because I bought a FX wildcat 25 caliber. We have a shooting permission here in California. I love my cricket and it was hard to handover to her. She has probably killed 125 squirrels with that gun up to 70 yards. It is zeroed in at 50 yards and it is nothing for her to hit a squirrel at 60 yards, or 10 yards for that matter. It is a great gun and I think I will call her Annie Oakley. Any squirrels I shoot farther than 70 yards are done with the wildcat, so I don't get to shoot many.😢😢
