New SPA Artemis PP750

If I had a lot of Patience(!!!!!!) (Patients) I'd be a doctor!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Save your lectures for those who live on the Nile!

In the words of Tony Soprano...."Revenge is best served with cold slaw!!!"

Cole Slaw was invented by the ancient Egyptians. You have offended 10 million Egyptians who live on the Nile with your remark.

I wouldn't be vacationing in Egypt in the near future if I were you!!! Furthermore....I'd avoid eating cole slaw in the foreseeable future!

Kindly 'Ol Uncle Hoot

I use to live on the Nile while stationed in Egypt and a few other places in the Middle East, so I guess I offended myself too 😁

Anyway ........back to "New SPA Artemis PP750".......I'm sure those who wait for it will be rewarded with many hours of enjoyment.

When all the loose ends are worked out I'll own one. At the moment I'll allocate the $ towards anothe PCP I've been lusting for.

As Sgt. Hulka would say:

Yeah, probably, it really depends on how quickly they get the shipment to me now. I'm thinking they won't make it by Friday now, though it's possible. Then it depends where you live but 2 weeks is probably a good ballpark figure. The Veradium ones should be not far behind, as they are dedicating their staff and time exclusively to these once they get them, and they'll be shipping UPS to Veradium air and to customers and UPS tends to be a lot faster than USPS in my experience anyway.

MODERATOR:

Wes has offered us valuable information regarding spare parts, modifications, availability of the 750, and has only responded to questions about availability of the 750 when solicited by other members. He has never used this forum other than to help those members trying to obtain the 750, parts and repair information, and his input has been invaluable.

I don't believe it is reasonable to shut out the ONE SOURCE of information we forum members have desiring the 750. He is NOT soliciting sales, he is assisting those of us who can't get answers anywhere else in North America, and is doing so as a member, not as a retailer!

The members chose to contact him regarding availability of the 750, he has never solicited sales from us...I was the one who brought him into this discussion. He just tried to help us. 24,950 hits on this topic affirm that fact!

Members...??? I'll shut up if I'm wrong.

WesBob has been very helpful discussing aspects/service/performance of the PP750, certainly not clandestine advertising.

Dealer EDgunWest is very active posting in member forums providing great support and information, hardly advertising. Having access to people in the "know" is a great asset to this community. Advertising is a commodity, we understand that. Limiting support information in the member forums is a disservice.

@MODERATOR, I totally agree with @thane and @Hepotter. @WesBob has been very helpful to the AGN community, ESPECIALLY with the PP750. As others have mentioned it's extremely difficult to get accurate information on this item in North America. Further, I hate 'advertising' and generally I'm glad this is a policy of AGN. However I don't believe WesBob was/is guilty of clandestine advertising, or any other advertising.

Respectfully,

-Anthony

One of the reasons why this topic has so many views is because we added it to the Trending Topics box for almost a month. Undeniably, there is some great information here.

Based on the following screenshots it looks like Wesbob is taking orders, and selling pistols, parts and barrels. As well as finishing some posts with a link to a web sales page. Or sending viewers to VeradiumAir for high power tunes of the pistol he is selling.

I much appreciate your giving me a "memory refresh" by furnishing these screenshots.

Point made.

Ok...but understand Wes was answering inquiries sent to him from forum members. He never posted an unsolicited advertisement that was not preceded by a member inquiry.

You've made your point, but I still maintain his responses were all to inquiring members and his answers was an attempt to help them secure the items THEY requested, not his unsolicited sales pitch!

You need to give us and dealers a viable resource for dialogue, so we can exchange questions and answers that forum members cannot resolve. Banning some dealers from doing this, but allowing others to do so, is a most inappropriate application of your "rules".

This particular "rule" needs to be reviewed in light of the difficulty of most forum members knowing HOW to contact certain dealers for information. We need the freedom to ask and receive answers to our questions from the experts who handle these guns, and this forum is the most convenient site to do so. There is no list of dealers and their contact information for us to reference when we have problems we can't solve by ourselves.

Please give this some thought and come up with a solution that permits forum members and dealers to communicate about the various difficulties and questions that other forum members cannot resolve. We NEED dealer technical expertise and support...give us a place to conduct such inquiries!

Agree with Hepotter, advertising is very different than responding to inquiries.

...I fail to see how an exploded diagram constitutes solicitation.

There is definitely a symbiotic between Forum Owner, Dealers and Forum members, all sharing information and benefiting from the discourse.

Advertising-pay for the service.

Answering inquiries-providing a requested service.

It will be interesting to see if the "RETAILERS, MANUFACTURERS & DISTRIBUTORS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE MEMBER FORUMS." is applied consistantly.

I apologize for stretching things a bit. It was never my intention to try and do anything other than give information people are asking for, but I do acknowledge it is beneficial to me as well, and not only to the forum members, so if that is the problem, then so be it.

If there could be a forum section set aside for discussions of this nature that would be wonderful. Until then, I will bow out as requested. Thanks to all,

Wes

I would hope the Moderators would have the respect enough to contact Wes directly, via PM, to have a discussion about this and perhaps a quiet resolution ?

As others have said, it sure appears to be selectively applied..............

IMO, the spirit of the law should be considered, in as much as the letter of the law.

Wes has contributed a HUGE amount of information to the community, much of which CANNOT be found elsewhere.

Food for thought.

Bring on the PP750's, they are on the way !

Had there been no issues with the preorder of the 750. We would not be having this coming conversation. I am very disappointed in AGN for laying the law down on Wes and the group following their purchases made last year 2019. Please for the benefit of the preorder group allow Wes and Brian to continue to provide us the info we so much need. Thank you AGN! Barry

I agree with this, Wes has been very informative and keeping everybody updated, I don't believe this is advertising.
