New smartphone windmeters

I bought one a few weeks ago, haven't tested it yet. The reason I got it was because it not only does wind speed but also direction. The price is pretty reasonable too.

Would be interesting to setup a few of them down range into a network to provide data that feeds into a program which creates a "wind map" of the field ahead of you. Wish I had the know-how or the time :)

"fe7565"I think Weatherflow's direction requires the user to make a turn around to find the strongest wind direction. Vaavud does not. But, it's a huge plus that Weatherflow interfaces directly with Strelok Pro, I do not think Vaavud does.
That feature to me is more important. I can move my phone in any direction easier than having to open multiple apps and transpose data fields. I use apps/meters seldom, but the handiness of having it all integrated in strelok far outways a wind meter than can also designate direction.
