dizzums

Ten minutes is a very short run but they pump pretty fast so probly all most need for filling their gun or topping off a tank like they were designed to do. Although you can run them for far longer if you have the correct amount of water in the reservoir or a bit of Ice as a replacement. Many of us are at two years plus and still going strong with our Yong Hengs. Yes, they are Chinese so a few do have QC problems.

Really hard to say at this point specs don't say much and no reviews that I am aware of as yet but probly nothing more than it's predecessors. But still with a built in manometer it could replace both the Automatic and Set Pressure models easy enough. What I am hoping for is a set pressure model without the short lived gauge the dumb model has.

As it stands now the Hardcover model rules.

I will wait for them to get state side so the shipping will come down.

Edit:

A review for you and it looks like a good unit.

Thanks Bio for the links. I'm lost with posting pictures and links, so glad you added them. My feeling about Smart Digital Version is good to see "weakest link" gauges gone, however, can those electronics stand up to that gauge-killing vibration? Was impressed with interactive digital screens on other compressors, would be something if the Yong Heng screen performs the same. Guess we wait and see.

You be welcome anytime. Yup, it's another of the many wait and see things we be waiting to see with fingers crossed for sure.

On posting links highlight the link with a left click or left click and move your mouse, right click on the highlighted area and choose copy. That saves it for you then when you want to paste it somewhere just right click again and choose paste.

good luck

While I'm going on two years with my Yong Heng, it's been repaired multiple times. About to replace it and just hope the new one is better. Piston disintegrated, the oil seals deformed, now the explosion disk blew which is a normal repair except the factory damaged the original on installation so have to wait for replacement parts from China.

It seems if you get a good one, they just run. If you get a mediocre one (mine) they spend lots of time getting repaired. They work, but only when they feel like it..

So true, they is cheap and from China so I figure 10 to 20% of them will have problems. I bought two one was wonderful even though I overheated it until it smoked three times it just kept pumping the air out. The other only lasted two months before a repair was needed bad QC. It has been good for a year or so now though after the $12 repair. Even though I ran it without oil in the crankcase for several minutes once.
