New shooting range goodies...

One target that is reactive and won't harm or make a mess around the homestead is ice, plain frozen water. You could also dye the ice, make small cubes, half freeze to make a bigger splash, etc. When hit they splatter just as well as anything out there.

I'm sure that if yer in the snowbound states at the moment the last thing ya wanna think about is ice, but it works well.

I shoot gum balls off of trees and nail strips on boards. Cheese balls they are bright orange, also animal crackers, eggs.paint balls, Smear chicken or fish guts on white paper and shoot flies. Blast caps that go on empty water bottles filled with flower and 70 psi of air. And a variety of metal targets.

Trim tree branches. Cut down dandelions. 

Shooting flies on white paper...that’s brilliant. Can’t wait to try it.

Use you Go Pro of phone and make slow motion videos of some of your targets that you are shooting. You can get some cool still shots from your slow motion videos.

Fill up old milk, OJ and water jugs with water and then shoot. Also cans of cheap or old soda pop.

Outdated canned food. Tomato paste is the best. Next day flys calor.

My wife bought home a doz ping pong balls from the $store. 6 for a buck. She drilled a small hole in them and half filled them with baby powder and taped the hole shut. Awesome 100 yd targets. Takes at least 15 hits before theirs not much left. Powder flies every hit. Have fun with the boys.
