New shooting bench

After years of shooting off crummy folding tables I made time to knock together a decent bench! I used some DIY plans as a starting point and a bunch of scrap that's been lying around. I'd been setting tile all week and my woodworking skills sort of deserted me as I must have done and undone everything twice, lol! I'm usually way more organized...no really! I any case I'm happy with the result- now to put together a nice target box/trap for attempts at 100 yards!

I made sure a pellet won't fall through the gaps in the table. Perhaps a cooler and drink holder next?

I don't get it...

While, I guess it's cool to show off your shooting bench, bags, stands, chair, etc. Doing this does nothing to show off the..."shooters"...skills.

Does no one but myself shoot offhand ? We all know that 98% of modern air guns (PCP, Springer) can outshoot their owners, why don't gun owners hone "their"...skills to try to be as good as their guns, or even close ?

MikeVV Have you ever thought some people might have a disability . I use to hunt shooting off hand my whole life at mule deer in sagebrush , that was how I was taught but if I had the chance & time I preferred kneeling or sitting for the shot . Another reason , I think it would be STUPID to sight one's rifle in while shooting off hand . About four yrs. ago I got essential tremmors so I have no choice but to use shooting sticks or a bench or I can't hit chit ! Since your so good show the rest of us a video of you shooting 50-75-100yds please . I think the rest of us would like to watch you-- I'm proud to say I love shooting sticks , bench , bags , tripods , tree limbs , ect. to help me out . The thing is enjoying yourself

I've been at a lot of ranges in my lifetime & have seen a lot of people that can't hit chit even off a bench . Also read a lot of post's where people shot squirrels out of trees at 180 yds that I call BS ,because you couldn't even see one that far because of tree limbs . Most hunters have a hard enough time at that distance with deer lol . I have not yet been able to do moa at 100 yds with a tight group but I'm working at it & have been close but want to be consistent

It's not about being "cool". The OP built something and wanted to share it. Not everyone has the cash to buy a premade shooting bench and sometimes it's the satisfaction one gets of making something themselves. Do you know the OP? Do you know if he only shoots off a bench? Who says he doesn't practice shooting offhand or in any other different positions? If he only likes shooting off a bench, so what?
