New setup for rats.

Ordered an arca swiss rail that's been stuck in the states for the last couple months. Big thanks to jking for relaying it, delays are out of our control.

Anyways had the ballhead for a while now and was chomping at the bit to try it so cut my losses and ordered an adapter.

Gonna make for some super stable rat shooting!

Had to modify it a bit so it didnt hit the bottle.

Nathan, you’re going to love it. Nice set up! I used to shoot off a tripod a lot with my powder burners. I tell people all the time, make a simple brace from the rear of your Impact to one of the legs of your tripod. It will make the rear of your gun way more stable! Try it.

Super simple and very stable! It’s one straight piece of carbon fiber tube from the back of the gun to the tripod leg, held in place with tension. You can make it in 10 min.

Thanks very much guys, I've been using that tripod with like the U shaped thing so far. Itll be nice to be able to take my hands off it for a second and not smashing to the ground.

Yeah killer setup there Stoti, I dont know if it would work for me doing night shooting as I pan around a lot. And we move often.

I got a tripod that has quick release base and it’s super useful. I got to try the rear support idea though.

Here’s another option for you Nathan. My son loves the gimbal head for panning and tilting. You can still lock it down for solid holds once you find your target. Or, just go with what you got. Just showing you other options we use. Stoti

That's a great setup forsure and appreciate the ideas. I sure wish my Dad was as cool as you growing up I would have killed for that quality time. Great setups all around.
