For JimNM

I'm not worried about tube
not worried about power or objective
...you know what a normal scope is right they've bbeen around for some time...its easy to pick out wthat would be considered a shorter scope....short as I can get...I don't imagine there being very many options in the shorter size scope....short and light weight are more important...then I would make my decision what I could live with

Though heavier than the Bug Buster.

Laramie, take a look at the Nikon Prostaff Target 3-9x40 EFR with AO. Excellent scope for the money. I posted my opinions on this scope based on my comparison between this Nikon, a Hawke, and a Leupold. Definition, clarity, and resolution are better than the Hawke, and close to the Leupold. Surprisingly, they sell for just under $200! Weight is under a pound, and length is about 12”. Dont waste your money on a Bugbuster. In my opinion, it doesn’t begin to compare to the Nikon. I bought one, took one look through it and sent it back to PA for a refund. .

Thanks guys...I'm aware of these nikons...I've owned and have numerous models on powder guns...and your right...for the money nothing beats a Nikon...in my opinion....and I'm sure the bug buster is not even in the same universe as a Nikon.....I have a utg on a brocock and its not too bad...this new scope is going on a hatsan and its just going to be a 50 yard gun...my new squirrel killer...I know scopes make alot of guns...and you don't buy a 1200 gun and put a 100 scope on it...at least I wouldn't...but this guns not 1200 and its gonna be for short range...so I just figure a lesser scope would do the trick...but if the Nikon are on sale then ill prolly just go that route
