Took my asp20 out to the range a few days ago and stretched it to 75 yards. Posted a few targets. Wind was present and annoying, but manageable. Today, zero wind. Felt comfortable enough to get 2 out at 60 yards. One down, then another within a minute. Went to check my work…

There are days now when that's the shortest shot that presents itself & I know my skills & equipment are an easy match for that. I think the CONFIDENCE we gain is the best gift in pushing the envelope. Good on ya, pal! Hope it keeps getting better? (Almost posted my personal best but didn't want to steal your thunder)

Thank you! I was just surprised another poked up within a minute of shooting the first within a foot of the same spot!

Thank you so much. My self imposed limit was around 40ish, sometimes a little more. I figured with that target I'd either miss or any hit would get the job done by mere force lol. 2 chippers, 2 shots.

June 13, 2021 at 8:30 am LinkLast summer, hunting with my pal Pesty3782, I got a ground squirrel & rabbit within 2 minutes of each other @ 175 & 178 yards respectively. BUT, I was using my FX Boss & 44.75gr pellets. I would say that your shot with a springer is equivalent considering each gun's capability. I think 60 yards was about my longest shot ever with a springer which I owned & used for about 4 months before moving to pcp's. Never looked back since. Stay safe, shoot straight!

Nice shooting!!
Doubt I'll ever transition to PCP for myriad reasons. Love hearing about shots at this distances, but especially where I pest/hunt I'll never have to go past 75 yards maximum and after the day at the range I think I can get that range with this gun and some more range time.
Stay safe, shoot straight brother!
