Cornpone, I shoot more than I read these annoying forums.  Most of the crap on these is just BS.

Emailed Mike at flyingdragon.   Gonna see if he wants that R9 back, minus a little restocking fee.

That's three of his guns I own, not particularly content with any of them.  :(

i know i'm just nuts, but other than that god-awful trigger, the walther is so much more a joy to shoot.  and just as accurate at 25Y, which is my limit for some time I figure.

well, glad i finally worked it all out.  lol, i think.  no, i got it now. R9 is listed, i'll use that to pick up perhaps a wooden version of the Parrus.  and more ammo.  always need more ammo! :)  oh, and that spendy PA spring-compressor I want.

Sorry it didn't work out.  I guess I'll keep the official HW fan-BOI pin till someone else steps up.

I also have an R9 from Mike and have it fitted with a Williams peep sight. You gotta put at least a full tin of pellets through before passing judgment, IMO.

I think I found a local fella that might interested in a trade for a Diana/RWS, of which I liked everything I've used in that brand.

Beeman tho', well, that's the 4th gun of theirs I've been less-than-thrilled with.  And shortly it'll be the last of that brand I'll own.

I'm aware and agree.  A tin of 500 went thru it the first couple days.  At least another tin since.

Doesn't matter anymore, R9's gone first chance I get.  last flyingdragon gun I buy too.

Sorry it didn't work out for you. I'm a dyed-in-the-wool Weihrauch devotee. They're everything I want and need in an airgun. Shoot whatever puts the biggest smile on your face.

thanks to the help of a fellow member, the R9 is gone.

kinda like dating a super-model and realizing she's just not that into you. ;)

alright, now on to the next project.

Dont let the high expectations get to ya, I only went with Weihrauch because Beeman has a lot of duds, meaning Beeman chinese crap, Weihrauch dont do that, a lot may disagree with it having nicer stocks etc. but I’m not here for the stock, I’m about the functionality of it, and it has never disappointed myself.

I too am large frame,  6-1 245, but LOP is ok, the hw30 feels a little small, but it’s light. The 95 is my go to gun for small game though. I’m 10% bench until its sighted in, then its carry. Dont go by the hype though, Good luck

That's a need for attention right there.  Like they say, this isn't an airport.

Yea, i saw that too, and thought waaa

    jeez, some peoples children.

well I hope you dont hold a bad opinion with Weihrauch cause you never had one. I could say I dont like corvettes because i owned a camaro. Like Diana and RWS I guess. Only Diana is Diana, RWS is Umarex.

I guess the Beeman Emblazoned R9 is sold and gone.

    Good riddance.

I will get rid of my Beeman R9 in .177 because it isn't as accurate or as powerful as my HW98 .177.
