i know i'm just nuts, but other than that god-awful trigger, the walther is so much more a joy to shoot. and just as accurate at 25Y, which is my limit for some time I figure.
well, glad i finally worked it all out. lol, i think. no, i got it now. R9 is listed, i'll use that to pick up perhaps a wooden version of the Parrus. and more ammo. always need more ammo! oh, and that spendy PA spring-compressor I want.

I also have an R9 from Mike and have it fitted with a Williams peep sight. You gotta put at least a full tin of pellets through before passing judgment, IMO.

I think I found a local fella that might interested in a trade for a Diana/RWS, of which I liked everything I've used in that brand.
Beeman tho', well, that's the 4th gun of theirs I've been less-than-thrilled with. And shortly it'll be the last of that brand I'll own.

Dont let the high expectations get to ya, I only went with Weihrauch because Beeman has a lot of duds, meaning Beeman chinese crap, Weihrauch dont do that, a lot may disagree with it having nicer stocks etc. but I’m not here for the stock, I’m about the functionality of it, and it has never disappointed myself.
I too am large frame, 6-1 245, but LOP is ok, the hw30 feels a little small, but it’s light. The 95 is my go to gun for small game though. I’m 10% bench until its sighted in, then its carry. Dont go by the hype though, Good luck
