New permission

Well after talking to a buddy at work that has 15 acres of forest on his property asked if i could set up a few feeders for squirrels at his place.

So last weekend i built a couple with scraps.

Yesterday morning heading out there,

Yeah ill take more pictures, he says i can go anytime i want just show up. Later in the year ill be able to drive right back there as well.

Theres a cleared road i can shoot 200 yards too, ill probably get a little folding table and do target shooting as well there. So happy to have a place like this and its only about 35 minutes away. Super excited.

Very happy for you GC, I know I wouldn't want to give up my little range of about 65 - 70 yards for anything …. especially as I can shoot right out my upstairs bedroom window. Used to be my son's bedroom, it's now my man cave. Everybody needs a place to shoot and a place to relax to get away from everything. Blessings to you, Shalom Aleichem.

glem can you tell me what gun and what ammo and your tune please LOU

I like to know this stuff I get gray squirrels here with all my .22 caliber with JSB 18 and Noe 30 gr and MP 36 gr an poly mag ,

They make quick work , I do find with jsb hitting them at say 80 or more yards ,you need perfect shot or they can run . I have taken them with the >25 and 30 but here .22 is only legal hunting caliber , I found the 25 caliber is way better even at same fpe due to bigger wound channel , you have more room for error, I have not seen a squirrel in 3 weeks with cold here , in spring and fall walking dog or just shooting targets or game cameras I see 10 to 20 a day here loaded with gray squirrel , I just wish it was loded with rabbits but we got more coyotes then rabbits here .
