New Pellet case

"skygear"That is an old JBL case, not JSB ;) - = - Personally, soft cases always are a no for me. I am too worried about messing up the skirts. UNLESS, you are keeping it in a hard case or back in the pellet tin so there isn't any noise to scare off the animals.
Damaging the skirts was my biggest concern too. The JBL case actually has a hard top and a soft back. I've used 2 foam circular cut outs from the JSB tins to ensure the pellets have adequate cushioning. Haven't seen a pellet with a damaged skirt yet. Hopefully that lasts.

"skygear"Thats useful information. I hadn't realized that. a buddy wanted to take a piece of thick hard plastic and drill out a bunch of holes to set pellets in for shooting and transportation. I told him to just get a couple more magazines and some more foam for the tins.
I had done this once. Took an old exercise mat. Then punched holes in it. The pellets sat next to each other well. Skirts also stayed intact.
