New Night Force scope coming out!

I know I’m a little late to the party and it’s already been mentioned but if the glass on the NX8 is comparable or even a little better than the NXS, the savings over purchasing a 7-35 Atacr would be worth it in my book. The glass in the NXS is phenomenal compared to other scopes in this price range and everything else about the NX8 looks typical of higher end Nightforce scopes. I’ve been considering a NX8 myself, it’s spendy but I could make it happen. The Atacr, not so much!

I'll probably do a review / comparison next week between my 7-35 ATACR (T3) and the 4-32 NX8 (MIL-C). They have different reticles, but they're both in MRAD and have .2 MIL hash marks, I just hope they're comparable!

LOL, yeah it's compact for sure! I do have the sunshade attached on the ATACR, the NX8 didn't come with one.
I wish it would have came later in the day, it's going to be a challenge getting work done with the temptation to fiddle with it

I also am the proud owner of Schmidt/Bender 10-50.
I know of 2 other Field Target shooters from Canada that also have them.
Mine is first generation and earned a bad reputation for being temperature sensitive and that affected range finding accuracy.
I find it's not too bad and easily accommodated by buying a adjustable pointer from Maestro in the UK.
This scope truly is the best of the best. For sure as good as March,Nightforce.

Only thing I did not like about my PMII is the reticle I had, I had the sport fine with 2 dots for aim points. Other than that it was amazing!

As good as nightforce? Night force is known for fantasticly robuys builds. Quality, repeatable adjustments that don't fail. They are not know for ultra fine glass.

My illumination button is fine...this scope has blown me away in initial impressions thus far....really like the way it pops into focus while ranging...love the glass...reticle...and ffp as well...turrets are incredible...remarkable scope.

Hmmm, I'm going to have them send me a new button then! I've heard from others on SH that theirs were finicky too .. guess you got a good one!
I'm more of a function than form kinda guy, but damn does it look right at home on El Crown..
