New Kral Puncher Breaker problems

I just purchased a new .22 Puncher Breaker. I have tried 10 different brand pellets and nothing groups, looks like a shotgun pattern only worse. They have been different weight, head size, round nose, flat nose and hollow point, full power, medium power and low power. I have cleaned the barrel with goo gone and dry patches and nothing improves the groups. The only pellets that even come close to a two inch group at 20 yards is crosman dome and crosman hollow point. Should I give up and return it? I do have about 15 other airguns, PCP, break barrel, co2 and multi pump, that all group really well for an old man shooting them. Thanks to everyone.

Charlie,

Charlie you beat me to the punch I also just got one. Mine is shooting great with the crosman 14.3 domes but better with the jsb's 18.3s almost pellet on pellet at 62 ft The problem I had the moderator was clipping the pellets took me two mags to figure that one out , because I was trying to sight in the scope. If you put a moderator on , go with the 25 cal not the 22 . Also my mags are cracking right where it says 10 next to the steel pin ( the top clear plastic ). Geeeeze started doing that after running only 2 mags thru it , & no guys I'm not putting to much pressure on them because I have experience with the marauder mags & never had that issue. The high adjustment seems a little hot & the low just lobs them in, so I have it set halfway between half & high ( should have said try running your power at 3/4 ) & see what happens . I also have to get a one piece scope mount for the rail ( tall ) because the scope is a little to close ( ran out of rail adjustment ) Other than that love the gun, forgot to mention that the moderator is a Tatsu Best of luck Darell

Charlie, you didn't mention your scope. from the sounds of it you got something seriously wrong with your setup for your gun. Not that it helps you, but my own shoots 5/8 inch group at a hundred yards. At 50 yards I'm hole hn hole on 22 caliber. The gun has a lot of potential if we can work out whatever is causing your problems. have you shot without the moderator installed? Take the shroud off and shoot it bare barrel and see what happens to your groups. Honestly, to me it sounds like your scope is bad. Let us know what you find please. you may also be missing the breech seal o-ring. If you need one, I have a package of 50 I'll be glad to send you a few. Without a good breech seal, there is no consistency.

My pellet of choice is the Seneca 28.5 Dome in 22.

Mine came with no baffles & they are not backyard friendly without a moderator. Darell

It’s been so long since I’ve messed with mine but I do remenber it being real loud. I put a t hammer quiet kit in it and added a moderator and that really helped. I thought mine came with baffles but I may have added them myself. I haven’t shot it in probably 2 years.

Charlie,

Yes,it comes right off. I removed mine along with the barrel band. The scope riser assembly helps to keep things in check so the barrel is more than rigid enough. Just screwed on a Donny Fl Tatsu and all is good.

This is 12 shots at 50 yds (full .22 mag) using JSB 18.13's. As You can see, accuracy is Not an issue.

These guns are super accurate so the good news is that once you find this strange issue you will be shooting dime sized groups and crushing your targets...bad news is you e gotta find this little bugger.

Scope and clipping ping sounds like a possibility. I just polished the hell out of my barrel for 2 hours then recrowned and polish the choke. I added 50fps average and closed my SD by 6fps 20 19fps over 36.

Youre going to live this gun and it’s capable of 50fpe in .22 for 30 shots, stay with it!

I decided that I shouldn't have to work on a brand new air gun to get it to hit the side of a barn so I returned the Kral Puncher Breaker. I exchanged it for a .22 marauder pistol and a $70 store credit at Pyramyd Air. I am giving up on Turkyish air guns, I guess you get what you pay for or luck of the draw. Thanks to everyone for your tips and feedback.

Charlie,

I tried really, really tried hard to buy a Kral breaker earlier this year, but no dealer would get me the 2018 model in three different countries. I even emailed customer support in Turkey as well as called on the phone. I never got any assistance from anybody. In the end I scrapped the Kral thing. I mean if you cannot get sales assistance, what kind of support could you expect to receive in case of trouble or spare parts? In the end' I bought a Crown and haven't looked back.

Not the Breaker but I have a Mega Marine .25 I just got from Troy and I thought it was broken when I 1st shot it because all I heard was a very small puff of air so I figured it didn’t even shoot the pellet, boy was I wrong, not only is it shooting the pellets it’s pushing a MKII 33.95 at a average of 896 at 60.22 fpe, it’s pushing 25.39s at a 1017 FPS average at a tad over 58 fpe.

That thing is gorgeous. I'd love to see more of this one.
