I've always used "picatinny rail extenders" when more rail-length was needed.. 
They work great, but, they do add a bit of height since they're pretty much just add-ons. 

I've seen these K&L uppers, and think that they're a great idea to maintain the 'oem look', 
as well as the fact that they're 1-pc construction, so, less chance of misalignment issues..

I use K&L products, and recently had a tech question for them.. 
Not only did I get a lightning fast reply back, I received better info that I could have expected, 
and then a few follow ups for a side conversation while just talking shop..

Anyone tried these? Any luck on their Impacts? 

I feel like this is only for VERY long-range (like 300+ yards). For 90% of us, a 20 or 30 moa scope mount can do the job just fine. I do really like the increased length of picatinny on this rail though, but unless you're shooting insane distances you're not going to need an extra 150 moa on your rail.

Anyone tried these? Any luck on their Impacts? 

I used the UTG for the first year or so I had my Impact it werqed well. Then I broke down and bought the not that expensive FX No Limit rings. They have quite a bit more than 20 MOA available and werq well also.

Thinking of using both 20moa rail in addition to FX No Limits or Eagle Vision to have the ability to stretch things to 250+ yards once I get my custom made SLUG making swage dies that are supposed to do 1/4 moa or better at 100. Not sure how long it's going to take though with all this Covid19. Coming from overseas.

So what caliber is going to need all of that adjustment?

I have been seeing that scope base here and there for awhile now. Love the idea and the looks although not the price. Still it is a nice upgrade for sure.

Planning on whatever dies are done first Guessing 22 or 25. Hopefully!
