New Hawke Optics Spotting Scope Proves Great Things Come in Small Packages

The New Ultra-Compact Spotting Scope is Perfect for Hunting Adventures Where Space and Weight Are Important

Hawke® Optics, the world leader in high-quality sporting optics with outstanding performance in the field and at amazing value to consumers, breaks new barriers in spotting scope size, performance and cost with the new Nature Trek 9-27x56 spotter. It is the perfect scope to pack on a long, back-country adventure where space and weight are an issue.

Hunters are often faced with a choice between hauling in a bigger, heavier scope so they get the clarity they need, or spending a huge amount of money to get a compact, lightweight spotter. Clarity is critical for spotting scopes. Without it, eye strain can affect your ability to see the fine details of your target. That’s where the new Nature Trek 9-27x56 spotting scope comes in. To handle the clarity aspect of the scope, Hawke uses fully multi-coated optics with a BAK-4 Porro Prism to give you better contrast and color transmission. This helps to cut down on your eye strain, since you can see the image clearly. The field of view is 234-108ft at 1000 yards. There is a dual-focus knob to let you truly fine tune the image you see. This spotter has close focus letting you see detail as close as 8.2 feet away. It is digi-scope compatible so you can use it as a zoom lens for your camera.

The Nature Trek 9-27x56 spotting scope is extremely durable. Its nitrogen purged and is water and fog proof. There is a stay-on lens cover, slide out sun shade and a twist-up eye cup. Hawke is confident in this scope’s durability to the point that it comes with Hawke’s No-Fault Lifetime Warranty. The point that will truly endear this spotting scope to hunters and outdoor adventurers is how compact the Nature Trek is. The scope weighs in at a scant 20.3 ounces, or just over a pound and it is only 7.6 inches long. The compact size means it will slide into a backpack, waist pack, glove box or even your pocket. It comes with lens covers and has an MRSP of only $219, making it the most economical, compact and clear choice for hunters looking for the ultimate compact spotting scope for this fall.

...give one to Odoyle for testing...

I've never seen Yo post any pictures of personal experience. All he posts is screenshots of other peoples pictures. Everybody knows he spends gobs of money buying airguns, but has anyone ever seen him shoot? Sure unregulated airguns are typically less problematic, but are they more accurate over an entire shot string than a regulated airgun. NO they are not because unregulated airguns have a bell curve shot string! And it seems that his only gauge as to whether a scope is good or not is if it's clear at the highest magnification. Pffft I'm so sick of his so called "experience" that never comes with any proof. 👎

Sorry for the rant.

@Hawke - nice looking compact spotting scope 👍

Don't have to believe anything that I say because everyone who don't believe me get to learn for themselves in real life. That's what being Human means.

Don't pay any attention to my accuracy points that were earned within the past four months either nor the number of followers I have.

At least you got one point in the last two years and four months (twenty eight months).

Feel free to "HIDED MEMBER" ME TOO.

Pestkillah I'd say that is way out of pocket remark. Yo has personally been 1 of my go to people that I personally ask before I buy anything because the man just Honestly tells it how it is! Doesn't sugar coat facts or let opinions overlap facts! He just lays it out there! He's probably owns ten times the product in airgun world or touched it at least to have the knowledge to have the opinion. He might say things that might irritate your stance on a product but I assure you if anyone has a non bias hard hitting fact about it yo is your guy!

odoyle is an asset to the site. Hes always posting deals and saving us some cash. Im sure retailers know he spends a ridiculous amount of money on airguns and everything attached to them. I would definitely take his word over the paid youtubers. I have seen part of his gun collection and yes he has more airguns in boxes the most retailers do in their warehouse. Why? No clue but his experience on here is valuable. I do agree with him, the hide member feature is always an option for you. To me his random burst are kinda entertaining.

I can see how some people may get irritated with Yo but Yo does have first hand experience to a lot of things. It would be a shame if anyone had first hand experience on a product and didn't give their "opinion" because someone didn't like him/her.

I don’t think his opinions are based on reading the web. I think he has real hands on testing on most products out there because he doesn’t hesitate to buy them. He just buys them, period. I buy a lot of stuff and sell a lot of guns here and I’m running out of storage space. I can’t imagine his collection. He’s bought pretty much everything I’ve listed here. I never see Yo/Odoyle selling anything so I know he has a bunch of products he can speak of. So it not based out of reading or video watching. From what I’ve personally experienced.

I'm pretty sure the Hawke spotter is a very decent choice. It's not a Tel Aviv or anything top tier but Hawke is a sound product with great customer service.

I would buy one once my youngest son & daughter are old enough to start shooting with me.

I personally shoot tethered for any precision shooting. A bell curve on a well/professionally tuned modern day AG use to equate to a 40fps spread start to finish. That's a 1/4" vertical string at 50 yards. I think current unregulated air guns can get 20fps or less with fine tuning. So in a competition you definitely want a reg or you're probably going to loose. For hunter's or pesting a reg can also give higher shot count/efficiency.

For me, tethered and shooting for precision with pellets or slugs I need a external step down reg.

Whoa!!! That is freaking awesome to have a compact spotting scope! @odoyle needs to do a review ASAP!!!!

@pestkillah: why are you derailing hawk’s product announcement to a Odoyle bashing thread? Like you said he has gob of cash and gets to buy and play with things you and I may not ever even see in person and give his honest feedback. He has gob of cash like you said so he isn’t in anyone’s pocket and feedbacks are exactly how he sees and nothing more which is what I appreciate. I may not agree with everything he says because our priorities are different but we are adults and we can agree to disagree like grown ass old men that we are. Example, I bought alpha 6 and Barra scopes because of him but because they lack certain features I want so I sold them, no big deal. I really like element scope but he doesn’t like them because he values optical quality higher than the features I value more.....so what? I have unregulated gun I can pick up and shoot and know where I will hit like he said but I also have many regulated guns that are MUCH easier to tune but I need to “burn off” first shot. Everyone’s priorities are different and I like his honest point of view and vast experience with different guns and everything else to help me decide on my next project.

this is a hobby, lighten up and enjoy whatever you like and can afford. AND not everyone is like you, most of us are WAY TOO OLD for this.

@pestkillah - Why derail a thread to bash someone you haven’t dealt with? I’ve sold him several rifles, and enjoy his conversation. I value what he brings. He sees many more products than many people just read about online. Knowing that I have sold him rifles personally, I believe he shoots, and could care less how many targets he shows. Half the targets you see by others are cherry picked and don’t mean a thing anyway.

Let’s get this back on the topic of the scope at hand. Nice looking at a good price. I’ll be researching it more having seen this. Thanks Hawke!
