New Hatsan Model? Vectis?

This popped up on the Hatsan website... Perhaps a yet-to-be-released lever action Flash?

I just picked up Hatsan Flash, I've only put a few magazines through it but I like it. That being said, this new lever intrigues me even more. Being a small game hunter it seems like it would be much better in the field. I'm just wondering how long the throw for the lever is? And also how much effort is needed to throw the lever. Either way I will be keeping a very close eye on this

I think that the reason they have quite a few complaints is that they sell quite a few airguns!

I don't know for sure, but I think they offer more varieties of airguns than any other manufacturer?

I'm with you on the weight issue, but I believe they have awakened to our criticism and are seeking ways to eliminate weight whenever possible?

In the same breath, they are producing some wood stocked versions of a lot of their previous synthetic entries, and wood does add weight?

Hatsan seems like the Suzuki of airgun manufacturing. Suzuki is not afraid to keep on building "parts-bin" bikes. It's hard to get excited about a DRZ400 with KTM and Husqvarna pumping out new bikes, but over the years how many thousands of DRZs have been sold? They have really capitalized on making slight variations off a common, robust platform. They are not fancy, or highly-refined but functional and they have probably managed to keep their costs inline as a result.

I thought this was interesting from the Hatsan PDF linked above:

This family (Hatsan) owned and operated manufacturer maintains a hands-on approach - producing all designs and components in-house to ensure that each product deserves to bear the Hatsan name.

This is especially interesting after reading this thread on PCP manufacturing:

I'm sure with all the over head of making ALL the components, the longer that they're able to pump out a common design platform (at44) the better their bottom line will be...
