New guy with-a new gun

New here to the forum and wanted to say greeting. I have been out of the sport for a while and decided to step back in and get back to having some safe fun shooting. I recently purchased a Hatsan Gladius in .22 the short version. I wanted to know what you guys have found about this rifle? Im looking for any information that will help me out with shooting this pcp. Has anyone found a good pellet or has any tuning recommendations? One this i have found out is that the trigger is long and creepy! Anyone here tune hatsan rifles? Thank you for your time

Welcome Anthony,

I too would recommend using the search function to find the info that you desire. I'm hoping that someone can tell us both where exactly is the search function icon (the little red looking glass) that used to be in the top right corner of every page. I don't see it anymore and I can't do searches on this site myself.

Can somebody help me find the search icon?

Welcome. I have a hatsen at44. The triggers are very adjustable for pull length and weight. Mine came from the factory almost perfect, but have read a ton of reviews that state otherwise. Im not sure if the Gladius has the option of removing the airtank but if it does it is a worthwhile purchase if you dont have portable air (i got a spare for mine and love not having to stop the action to air up). As for pellet recommendation I have none at this point. I have tried a nunber of cheapies and so far they all seem to group pretty good. I just got a couple HN samer packs so those are going in next. I got the non qe version and it is loud but im pretty sure yours is only available in the qe version so noise shouldnt be a factor. Enjoy
