She's gorgeous. That pic I posted was my little Emmy, she passed away in 2015, almost made it to 16 yrs old.
Now we've got a 7 pound Yorkie mix, a 10 pound chihuahua, and a 62 pound Pitbull. The two little ones are the boss and he obeys both of his little princess's. I can shoot my air rifles around the little ones , but big ol' Axman is scared to death of them?
Amazing how well those Gamo Red Fire's grouped for you. I would have never thought to try them. good shooting.
RTR, Welcome to our passion. You see the guys responding with all the green dots? (no disrespect to us that haven't earned them yet) These dots come from earned respect from their peers. Your in good hands with them.
new gal here I'm coming from the AR's and .45/9mm side of the fence as well as a former Marine I just got the Gamo Maxxim Swarm in .22 and absolutely loved it using crossman premier hollow points got it to zero and group 1/4 @ 25yrds and having fun plinking the nozzle off a use paint can all this with the bundled scope, I'm going to replace it with an Hawke airmax AO scope eventually. My brothers who usually turned their nose at airguns as "toys" got hooked into it and practically playing "keep away" with it seeing who gets to shoot it. Well good thing they're getting one for themselves but going the PCP route they have a bigger budget than me
Congrats on the new gun Farrah. Wow 1/4" @ 25yds with a piston gun is some fine shootin'. You'll be swayed over to the "Dark Side" once you shoot your borther's PCP's ;-)
Ha. Reminds me of dad's Carcano, barked like a dinosaur and kicked like lil mule. Even the Crosman Optimus .22 I bought my son freaked out the neighbors. And we were siting in the foyer, shooting some 15yds at the target/backstop. I was teaching my youngest son to shoot. Anyway, with no suppressor these things usually come with, it is loud. Like Nylon66 with mini-mags in a ravine loud. But, I figured, since we were in the house, it wouldn't carry. I was wrong. Not even allowed to shoot a blow gun outside in this Libtard town. The heaviest pellet I've used in my .22 Hatsan Striker 1000x springer is the H&N hornet @ 16.2gr. Great balance and accuracy from them. The Crosman PHP's @ 14.3gr work quite well, if you can find none-bent up ones. Many of the H&N and JSB pellets work really well too. Gamo Rockets @ 14.3gr shoot very well in my rifles as well. The RWS superpoint extra @ 14.5gr .22 works very well in my old Crosman 160 V1 Pellgun.
I agree with you on the crossman premier HP I had 1 tin with 6 bent skirt but I bought it from WalMart which I suspect got shaken quite vigorously on purpose by Harambe himself to damage it. I remedy that buy buying it online which I think get handled less same price just gotta wait 2 day for it. So far I've only used Crossman premier on my Swarm since I had the scope zeroed to it I will switch to Diablolo heavies when my Hawke airmax comes in and zeroed with it.
I started with a breakbarrel. Thought I'd never spend the big bucks to shoot PCPs, but I got the bug. They shoot so nicely and easily. Expensive, but they sell for 90% of new price so you really are just parking your money. Not like buying wings and beer.
