New Guy :)

Hey guys, just wanted to introduce myself I saw some other people making I'm new post too. My name is Tim, I live in South Phoenix, Arizona, I've posted a couple of times already but anyway. I got an old-school pump from Walmart I started shooting years ago and found out about the world of PCP about a year ago, finally put in an order in September I think with Pyramid, and got my Impact Mk II with PP in .30 and a barrel kit for .25. I also have some firearms been shooting since my time in the service. (7 years in the Infantry lol) Got a couple of combat tours saw some action was a good time. Lately, PCP's have been a godsend with the world having a bullet shortage I don't want to shoot anything I have in storage, cause who knows when I'll be able to replenish my stock.

I can say I've learned a lot about the Impact, taking it apart and putting it back together for just simple maintenance, and I've learned more about really taking the thing down to the "nuts and bolts" via the Master Classes with Ernest Rowe. I've never done armorer-type work but man it's been fun, also it seems you have to get that detailed with PCP's vs firearms. anyway appreciate the conversation trying to stay active, COVID has got me working mostly from home so I seem to have a lot of time on my hands lol. When I'm not at home I am working for a warehouse I partially own in Florence and manage shipping to multiple companies. It's a good time. a lot of room for shooting in a 100k Sq Ft warehouse in the middle of nowhere haha.

Oh and I have mostly been plinking with pellets but I got some slugs and FX Hybrids to make the hunting game more interesting. lol. Took down a group of javelinas at 60ish yards not too long ago.

Welcome and thank you for your service.

Warehouse? You have a warehouse?

 New Guy,

I assume that you can see from the comments that you have not come to an airgun recovery group. We here are hopelessly addicted. Interventions have been attempted. Some have even sought out counseling. We were warned about the dangers of starting down this treacherous addictive road and that, once started, there will be no hope of recovery.

If you persist in this folly and hang out with us you will be drug down into this airgun gutter. Your destiny is full-blown airgun madness.

All of us were warned but we ignored the warnings. We have accepted that are the doomed.

Therefore, New Guy, let me say this from all of us – Welcome Friend.

Welcome dude! I also have been shooting pellets instead of bullets for the last year or so. It saves money and keeps your skills sharp. You picked a great first pcp. I still don't have a tier 1 gun like that! Also 30 cal is a hell of a Caliber for versatile hunting. I went with the 25cal condor but I often wish I had a 30. But yeah welcome to the forum thanks for joining.

THANKS for your service & welcome aboard. I'm assuming there's a lot of places to shoot & quarry to hunt near Phoenix & you got yourself a great setup with which to do that. This forum is so filled with invaluable information & generous people. Hope you stick around & find joy & satisfaction in "the learning curve. Stay safe & shoot STRAIGHT!

Hahaha these are best comments to describe exactly my thoughts signing on to AGN! I'll take the warning side and head straight into the abyss !
