A few vendors have a limited selection of them. The Heavy liners are only in .22 500mm and 600mm. I will have to see when the heavy comes out in .25 if it can better the sub MOA at 100 yards I have had with the 700mm STX slug liner in the past. There goes another $109+

I wouldn't worry too much about it like I said my 700mm slug barrel shot sub moa groups often 1/2 inch at 100 yards it's going to be hard for them to do better than that. Although I really hope they do.

Me, I bought my gun at the beginning of the Impact-X days and ended up with the old style regulator even though the new one's were out and by looking at the picture I thought that's what I was buying.

Things at FX are in a constant state of change for the better. It's really hard to keep up.

If the bell keeps on ringing, why replace the clapper?

Ya know... I got a whistle that blows louder than any whistle, replace your whistle today with my new whistle and be whistling away to perfection!

Additional whistles will be released in the near future, make sure to replace your old whistle with our new whistle, and then replace that new whistle with what we will release in a few months, or risk being out whistled!

This is the beauty of the FX STX barrel design. They can change groove/ land ratios, twist rates, chokes, with a few mouse clicks in the design software and produce one off prototypes to experiment with in a couple minutes of machine time with no changes of tooling.

.

6 months from now FX will decide the new liner will be even better with a factory installed Carbon fiber bonded sleeve. It would be very easy and cheap for them to do in production. No more droop or resonance even in the 700mm Crown/ Dreamlight bottle superlight barrels with giant moderators hanging off of the end

As per Ernests video bonding on the sleeve? interesting concept and some guys in the UK have been doing it for a while, not sure if there are any comparisons to prove it makes a difference.

It’s starting to get a little frustrating, to be honest. Rolling development is great but it sucks if you buy at the wrong time.

I bought my Impact X and then a month later the MKII comes out.

I finally get my rifle upgraded to MKII after a long wait for parts. 2 weeks after I get it back from FX, they announce the Power Plenum.

I get the plenum installed and a few months later, here we are with new liners. What’s next?

I’m not sure I’m going to jump on this one until I see some tests showing a tangible benefit.
