Congrats on the new impact, you bought a .25cal and a .30cal barrel?  What rings you got holding that impressive scope?  And whats up with the new moderator and shroud?  Did you order them the same time or prior too?

Is the cheek rest new? Something else looks different other than the LDC.

Does anyone know if this twisted grooves are part of the sound reduction design or are they just part of the aesthetics? It certainly looks good. Just wondering if they played part in the function.

Zebra the grooves vent the shroud and LDC but the way they are shaped is just for aesthetics, Neil.

PS. I should have been more explicit, the grooves where you can see mesh underneath them, at the back of the shroud and back of the LDC are the vents, the others on the shroud are just for show.

Nice Impact, but I’m really drooling over that S&B!  Man I love me some German glass but don’t think my wallet will allow me to buy a scope of that caliber to dedicate on any of my air rifles!

“Regarval”Did you paint the air gauge?

That looks like the Delrin gauge cover from David White on the FX Airguns Group.  He machined them on a CNC lathe.

That Hugget shroud makes it look much better. If you don’t mind me asking Why did you change the shroud. Was there any problem with the original shroud?

I do not like the original cover, because I feel that the groups are not well. esthetically, I prefer the suppressor Huggett !! , Because it’s more silent than the original !!

Very nice Claudio, I’m also no fan of the telescopic shroud (although I don’t own an Impact)
The slightest play in the telescopic shroud will very likely have influence on the poi.
I experimented a lot with custom CF shrouds on my Royales and Boss, and alignment is critical.

About the scope, I can second your opinion, I also own one, and it is awesome. Only negative thing I can say about it is the tunneling effect when you dial below 7x magnification. When you do, the magnification will decrease, but so does the FOV. With other words, there is no gain dialing below 7x mag, because the image seems to move away from me.
Good thing is that I rarely use it below 10x :)
