Follow up to my first post on a new freedom 10....
I’ve used it 3 times so far, a little over an hour per run to get it to 4500 from 3600...I have adjusted the pressure switch to shut off at a twitch over 4500...then as the tank cools, the pressure sags to 4350-4400..I think this is an indication of the lower temperature of the compressed air..
I’m using it way more than I expected, because I’m shooting more.. let me repeat that...i’m Shooting Way more! .for the first time I’m not sweating air use! I used to go easy on filling, because I knew that at 3k, I had to go to the compressor guys, spend 20 to get it refilled, not to mention 2 trips there and back...
Now I have every rifle topped off, And a full tank!
i did change out the dessicant on the dryer, it was getting a little pinkish...
‘after watching videos about the oven/microwave method of drying the beads, I read a comment from a guy the used a blow dryer on his...I used my harbor freight 12.00 heat gun and had them back to purple in about 3 minutes...way easier!
overall, this freedom 10 is a gem!
